How to Contact your Counselor

Parents: Because the counselors are spending the majority of their time with students, the easiest way to contact them is via email. Clicking the counselor's name above will initiate an email. You can also call 503-916-5280 and ask to be connected to the counselor. If the counselor is with students, a message will be taken and the call returned at a later time. In addition, Kathryn Wolff and Kathy Garrett are half time and their hours fluctuate based upon student and school needs.

Students: Counselor schedules are posted weekly in the counseling office. If you need to see a counselor and it is not an emergency, sign up for an available time. The counseling secretary will provide a pass, allowing you to come to see the counselor at the designated time.

Thank you for your cooperation in this process and for your contribution towards a smoothly running, efficient and effective counseling staff.

COLLEGE & CAREER GUIDANCE THROUGHRollover images Parent Assistant Module
Wilson Counseling uses Naviance, a planning and advising system for students in the areas of college and career guidance. Naviance provides online information regarding WHS college visits, scholarships and much more. Creates a connection among parents, teachers, and students by providing online access to current grades, attendance, and assignment information. Provides parents and guardians online access to the following information: child’s demographics, emergency contacts, attendance, current school year progress, reporting period grades, class schedules, diploma credits toward graduation.
Parents who would like access to Naviance's Family Connection should contact the counseling office. This is not used by all teachers. For access contact the teacher of the class you are interested in. Parents and guardians may view the information or request changes to demographics via the web. They may also send and receive messages with their child's teacher(s). For the best experience, please use the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox on a PC, and Safari or Firefox on a Mac.

We have a great program planned with many admissions representatives from the area and throughout the United States. This is a fantastic opportunity for juniors to get their questions answered and find out how they need to get started with the college application process, so that senior year will be somewhat less stressful.
